- Commodity name: Aqueous Pentaerythritol Stearate Emulsion
Product nature:
Pentaerythritol stearate exhibits excellent thermal stability and low volatility at high temperatures, as well as good mold-release and flow properties. In the rubber and plastics industries, it is used as a dispersant and lubricant, particularly suitable for applications that simultaneously demand both thermal stability and superior mold-release performance. During rubber compounding, it plays a role in plasticizing, lubricating, and facilitating mold release.
In calcium-zinc composite stabilizers, when used as a highly effective lubricant, this approach overcomes the drawback of pentaerythritol being prone to precipitation due to its high addition level, thereby enhancing the high-temperature stability of the stabilizer.
Lubricating and brightening agents for PVC, UPVC, and various thermoplastic engineering plastics. In the processing of engineering plastics such as PA6/PA66, PC, PC/ABS, PBT, PET, and POM, these agents serve as high-temperature-resistant internal and external lubricants and dispersants. As rubber processing aids at concentrations of 0.1–1%, they play a role in lubrication, dispersion, and mold release during rubber compounding, improving the friction of the rubber compound and reducing adhesion to rollers, thereby increasing the extrusion rate.Main uses:
Used as a lubricant additive, mold release agent, and lubricant for metal cutting and rolling thin steel sheets.
Product packaging:
Packaged in 50kg or 200kg plastic drums, or according to customer agreements.
Product storage:
1. The product must be stored in a sealed container; never leave it open, as this may cause a skin to form on the surface and affect its usability.
2. Strictly prohibit exposure to sunlight; it is recommended to store in a cool, well-ventilated place.
3. In winter, prevent freezing and emulsion breakdown; it is recommended to store at temperatures above 5°C.
4. Do not store this product together with strongly acidic or strongly alkaline compounds, as leakage of acidic or alkaline solutions could lead to chemical reactions that compromise its stability.
5. After prolonged storage, this product may exhibit slight sedimentation. Stir thoroughly before use; this will not affect the product’s performance.
6. This product should be transported and handled as a non-hazardous chemical, with a shelf life of six months.
