About Hanbang
The company was established in 2013 (formerly known as Zibo Additive Factory), and has successively set up Zibo Hanbang New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. and Shandong Huibang New Materials Technology Co., LTD. In March 2020, Gaomi Hanbang New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. was established. The company is located in Gaomi, Shandong Province, which is in the Red Sorghum Film and Television Base and the hometown of Liu Yong, a grand scholar of the Qing Dynasty, and Mo Yan, a Nobel Prize winner in literature. In the same year of its establishment, it became a cooperative unit with Shandong University of Technology. In 2022, it was awarded the title of High-tech Enterprise and other honors. Before 1991, the fused stearate method was completely dependent on imports from developed countries such as the United States and Japan, with high usage costs and difficult availability of goods, which was very passive.
Therefore, our company was dedicated to the research and development and production of stearates. We boldly introduced advanced German equipment and actively cooperated with research institutions such as Qilu Petrochemical and the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
After more than two years and over a thousand experiments, Finally, a new path for the production of specific grade stearates has been successfully opened up, filling the gap in China's plastic additives industry and becoming the first manufacturer in China to develop and implement the melt method (i.e., dry method) for the production of stearates. Over the past 30 years, we have continuously improved on the basis of the original formula process and conducted in-depth research on the characteristics and applications of stearates in collaboration with relevant research institutions. Especially in the application field of heat stabilizers, we have strived for excellence and customized the production of different series of products according to customer needs. At the same time, we have achieved remarkable results and gained a good reputation in different industries such as paint, plastic, rubber, papermaking, rubber, and textile. Since then, our company's production capacity and scale have gradually reached the peak of the industry.
